Innovating Democracy

Which Startup Ideas Do We Need for Better Politics?

On the occasion of the Bremen elections in May 2027, this english-speaking and free of charge event asks how entrepreneurial ideas can contribute to a healthy political coexistence. We will start with guest talks. So far, Philipp Burckhardt has confirmed his participation. He will present the nationwide work of Project Together and its collective action approach. Other speakers are requested. Afterwards, we will work together on the most important challenges and develop small ideas of our own. How might AI help? Which Social Innovation do we need? Ideas can be collected for Bremen or for other places. Then we practice giving feedback. Finally, we show you a path to continue with your idea.

What's in it for you?

  • Explore democracy from an entrepreneurial innovation perspective
  • Get inspired by guest talks
  • Dinner included
  • Exchange between internationals and locals (including invited political experts)
  • Meet potential co-founders (within or beyond the topic of democracy) by working directly together in small groups
  • Opportunity to briefly introduce yourself and your concern at the end

Accountability

Less than 40 % of ticketholders actually participate in similar events, as it is free of charge. To feel a bit more comittment, we ask you to contribute to a little potluck dinner. After registration, you get a simple sheet where you can add what you like to bring with you. We appreciate self-cooked finger food, however it is totally fine to bring something bought from the supermarket.
