Registration

Students, employees and alumni of the University of Bremen, Hochschule Bremen, Hochschule Bremerhaven, Hochschule für Künste Bremen and Constructor University as well as from the institutes and research facilities of these institutions are eligible to participate. If more than one person is involved in a competition entry, at least one person must fulfill this condition.

You can submit your idea, no matter at what stage of development it is!

By the way: You can also apply if you are aiming for a patent! Just point this out in your application and together we will see what can and cannot be published as part of the start-up competition.

Here you can find the competition documents for your participation in the CAMPUSiDEEN 2025 ideas competition. You can submit your ideas in English as well as in German!

Participation is possible in two categories:

  • For the business ideas category only a rough description of the idea is required.
  • In the business concepts category, further details on the business model, market and competition are requested. A financial plan is also required. Please use the profit and loss account template provided.

Competition conditions and data protection

By participating in CAMPUSiDEEN 2025, participants agree to the following conditions. The decision of the jury is final. Legal recourse is excluded.

  1. Organiser
    The CAMPUSiDEEN competition is organised by BRIDGE and the institutions organised in the network (University of Bremen, Bremen City University of Applied Sciences, Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, University of the Arts Bremen, Constructor University and Bremer Aufbau-Bank).
  2. Participants
    Students, alumni and employees of the University of Bremen, Hochschule Bremen, Hochschule Bremerhaven, Hochschule für Künste Bremen and Constructor University as well as the associated institutes and research facilities are eligible to participate. If several people participate in a competition entry, at least one person must fulfill this condition. Repeated participation is possible. The repeated submission of a competition entry from previous years in the same category is not permitted.  Participation in the events associated with the competition is mandatory. If nominated, participants agree to present their entries to the jury and at the awards ceremony. The prize money is subject to income tax for employees of the state of Bremen.
  3. Competition conditions
    All entries submitted in connection with which NO formal company foundation has yet taken place are eligible to participate (idea phase). A formal company foundation before 01.01.2024 in connection with the submitted entry excludes participation in the business ideas category. A formal company foundation before 01.01.2023 in connection with the submitted entry excludes participation in the business concepts category.
  4. Language
    Applications may be submitted in both German and English. The application documents are available in both languages under Application. Applicants who are invited to pitch may pitch in both German and English.
  5. Competition procedure
    The competition documents will be made available at www.bridge-online.de. The closing date for entries is 17.08.2025, 23:59. Entries received after this date will not be considered. Only complete entries will be entered into the competition. Participants will receive a confirmation of receipt by email. An independent jury with representatives from business and science will decide on the awarding of prizes. If there is a high level of participation in the competition, a pre-selection will be made by the organizer. The members of the jury will receive the submitted entry documents anonymously and with the express instruction to treat them confidentially.
  6. Data protection
    In order to run the competition, it is necessary for the institutions organized in BRIDGE to store and process all submitted data. The competition entries will also be made available to the jury members and necessary service providers in anonymized form for the purposes of the competition. All information collected as part of the competition will be treated confidentially. The competition entries that reach the final will be presented via BRIDGE's marketing channels and at the awards ceremony. When publishing abstracts of the entries as part of the competition, the data submitted may be used by BRIDGE and also transmitted to third parties for this purpose. Participation in the competition requires consent to our privacy policy.
