Blickfang - the digital learning platform for targeted promotion of reading competence

Nationwide, almost 20 percent of fourth graders do not reach the minimum standard of reading literacy. Blickfang is a software-supported learning environment that detects reading weaknesses in elementary school students at an early stage and counteracts them with individualized learning opportunities. By monitoring eye movements during the reading process, individual weaknesses can be identified selectively. Pupils can call up and reflect on their own learning status. Teachers have the possibility to specifically adapt the support of individual students in class. Blickfang thus offers digital and highly individualized support in education.
